I'm not gonna install a cheat engine for the reason that those things aren't simple apps, they mess too deeply with the system. I don't even remember how (NOT a cheat engine), but I did and it allowed me to see most of the game, which is why I bought this one. OUT OF 16.īut most importantly, I could cheat in Spelunky 1. Remember that Celeste doesn't block achievements if you use Assist so those statistics include people who use it. They can cheat and 92.3% of players still have not beaten that. And even with cheating, only 7.7% of the players have beaten Farewell. I would too only have been able to play a tiny fraction of the game without it. You can beat the game with bad item rng and without a lot of skill. 10% of players have beaten the game in single player and without using shortcuts. Hard games tend to have that kind of clear rate and in the case of Spelunky 2, the base game is not that hard. Not limited to roguelikes, only 7.7% players have beaten Farewell in Celeste and I am surprised the number is that high. In fact, the hardest Spelunky 2 achievement has been cleared by 1.7% players while (Non-last-DLC) Necrodancer achievements go as low as 0.3% with the All zones Coda. Which is like the first character you do that with. In Necrodancer ONLY 4% has beaten the All Zones Mode with Cadence. Only around 25% players have seen the end-game credits in Hades, and Hades is on the easy side. That aside, 15% of players beating the game is not really a low number for a roguelike. In my current save I have not unlocked the last shortcut.
